Naked Cake With White Chocolate And Cream

Are you thinking of preparing a cake with Christmas decorations, but without ornate effects? Try this “naked cake”, with the cake cut into three discs and filled with cream, white chocolate and cream. With the cones, we mount snowy trees with coconut.

Ingredients

  •  295 g wheat flour
  •  165 g yoghurt
  •  4 eggs
  •  4 tsp baking powder
  •  165 g sugar
  •  135 ml sunflower oil
  • For the filling and topping
  •  115 g butter
  •  166 g icing sugar
  •  265 g white chocolate
  •  265 ml whipping cream
  • To decorate
  •  4 waffle cones
  •  10 g dehydrated coconut
  •  30 g melted white chocolate
  •  sugar balls

HOW TO MAKE WHITE CHOCOLATE AND CREAM NAKED CAKE

Step 1

Sift the flour together with the yeast. With a whisk, beat the eggs with the sugar until they have almost tripled their initial volume and are whitish.

Step 2

While beating, add the oil little by little. Add the yoghurt, and stir gently to integrate it. Add the flour and yeast, stirring with gentle enveloping movements so that the dough does not lose volume. Pour it into a greased, 18 cm high mould and bake for 35-45 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 °. Let it cool before unmolding it.

Step 3

For the topping, let the butter soften at room temperature. Put it in a large bowl, and beat it with a whisk for 2 minutes until soft and fluffy. Add the melted chocolate and continue beating for a couple more minutes. Add the sugar and beat for 3-4 more minutes. Whip the cream, and with a spatula incorporate it into the mixture until you get a homogeneous cream.

Step 4

Cut the cake into 3 discs and fill it with 2/3 of the cream. Assemble it again, and cover the top and sides with the remaining cream. Reserve in the refrigerator until serving. And top it off with the wafers painted with chocolate and decorated with coconut and balls.

The trick:

So that the cake does not stick, grease the mould and flour it a little before pouring the batter.
