Fish and seafood

Unpasteurized milk and its products
Milk is surely an important beverage for pregnant women. If you have milk, do not drink unpasteurized milk. You should drink only pasteurized milk which is boiled properly. If you have unpasteurized milk, boil it first as it kills germs and microbes which can be harmful to the growth and development of the fetus. Any product made up of unpasteurized milk should avoid by the expected mothers. Avoid eating soft ice-creams during the pregnancy period.
Uncooked or raw meat
There is a high risk of infection from several bacteria if you eat raw or uncooked meat. Bacteria will harm your fetus in many ways like neurological disease, blindness etc.. Uncooked meat should be avoided by pregnant women unless they have been reheated properly.
Everyone advised avoiding sesame seed during the first three to four-month of pregnancy. Sesame seed was used as a medicine for abortion. Papaya leads to abortion and it is very unsafe to eat during pregnancy. Raw and unripe papaya contains latex which causes contractions in the uterus. Papaya restricts fetal growth. Every nutritionist advice expectant mothers to avoid raw papaya during pregnancy.
Drinking a lot of caffeine in pregnancy may lead to miscarriage and low baby birth weight. Tea, coffee, soft drinks, chocolate are the source of caffeine. You are advised not to take more than 200 mg per day. High caffeine intake restricts fetal growth.
Unwashed vegetables and fruits
Unwashed fruits and vegetables contain lots of bacteria on their surface. Bacteria can harm both mother and the fetus. Before use fruits and vegetables rinse them thoroughly and then use.
Pineapple is the main cause of softening of the cervix which leads to miscarriage. It produces heat in the body which cause abortion or premature birth of a baby. Having it in small quantities or to avoid is safe during pregnancy.
To avoid the complications in the last phase of pregnancy, you should keep away from grapes as grapes raise the body temperature. Grapes contain an element called resveratrol that creates difficulties by balancing the hormones in the body of pregnant women. Grapes also lead to stomach related problems.
It is highly recommendable to avoid alcohol completely. Alcohol can harm you and your fetus. It increases the risk of miscarriage and stillbirth. Even a small quantity of alcohol can harm the development of a fetus’s brain.
